Molfline
Overview
The Molfline is a suspended cart path that zips tourists across much of New Orange City, offering a one-of-a-kind aerial perspective of the city. Now spanning an expanded network of diverse districts, this high-speed rail weaves both underground and aboveground—traversing tunnels, caverns, and soaring over vibrant urban landscapes—to showcase New Orange City’s unique blend of modernity and history.
Despite its popularity, the Molfline remains one of the city’s most controversial transit systems. Originally constructed without official approval or permits, its rapid build-first, legalize-later strategy was designed to cement its presence before authorities could intervene. Multiple lawsuits have been filed against the company, yet the Molfline continues to thrive.

Operated by the Molfline Tour Company, the rail system now follows a dynamic, ever-changing route intended to encourage repeat visits. The current path includes:

The full ride takes approximately 12 minutes with no stops along the route. All-day passes are available for $30.
Construction, History & Controversy
The Molfline Tour Company built the system without city approval, sidestepping regulations in a bold build-first, legalize-later maneuver. After a period of soft openings along a shorter route, the system celebrated its grand opening on February 18th, 2025. Despite the shadow of ongoing lawsuits and its contentious legal status, the Molfline continues to evolve, with new routes introduced regularly to keep the experience fresh.
