Brahmin Beach is a neighborhood in southeast Oranjestad. It is bordered by Summit to the north, Meijin Hills to the south, and Alfa Beach to the west. Its east side is bound by the Budapest River. The area is named after the feral population of freak, two-headed Mooshrooms that can occasionally be seen roaming the area. These beasts are known locally as “Brahmin”. It is widely believed that the mutations are a result of their close proximity to the Jimmy Nuclear Power Plant, though there is little evidence to support this. Prior to the construction of the power plant, the area had been occupied by the Dillman Farm, which specialized in Mooshroom milk production.
History
The Dillman Farm was formally organized on December 2, 1834 by Henry Dillman. It operated independently from the nearby Oranjestad until Henry’s great-great-great-grandson Jerry Dillman sold the land to the city in May 1970.
Construction of the Jimmy Nuclear Power Plant by the IronBat Corporation began in haste to meet the ever-growing demand to the surrounding area, and the plant was completed in 1974. Though the plant operates as a private corporation, the power grid is operated by the municipal power company ShireWire.
With the completion of the power plant, the remaining lots of the old Dillman Farm were quickly sold for residential development. Today, the neighborhood features 13 condominiums, 4 low-income housing units, and 11 single-family homes. In all, approximately 75 people call Brahmin Beach home.
Transportation
Atoms for Peace Highway and Skylan Highway both connect to Brahmin Beach. The neighborhood is also connected to the Oranjestad canal system on two sides. The Oranjestad Hyperloop has two stops in Brahmin Beach.

Brahmin Beach is also home to Oranjestad’s famous Green B.E.A.N. Delivery and Grocery Store, which delivers healthy, organic foods directly to Oranjestad residents.
The neighborhood is of course famous for the Jimmy Nuclear Power Plant. Tours are available to the public.
Behind the Scenes
This area features two build competition plots. The nuclear power plant was built by morris_h1997 and the beachfront farm and hut was built by Andrewpo.
Brahmin is a reference to the video game Fallout, which features two-headed cows.
Dillman Farm is a famous Indiana producer of jams and jellies, based out of Bloomington, IN.
Atoms for Peace highway is a reference to the Thom Yorke album of the same name (which itself is a reference to the 1953 speech delivered by President Eisenhower.)
