King's Federation is a democratic federation succeeding the Arbemaisonnese Empire, with the capital in Arbemaisonnes. The federation is named after the King's Peninsula and was established after the overthrow of King Zaldar II.

Geography

King's Federation consists of Arbemaisonnes Capital Province, along with most of the overseas territories of the former Arbemaisonnese Empire: Warzone Archipelago, Curien, Cliffort, and Magician's Town. The last three territories are Enpeecee towns and villages located on the southernmost border of The Shire; their closest transport accesses are via the Juravista-based '/warp Juravista' and Juravista Station, serving the Franco Line.

Two former territories of the Arbemaisonnese Empire are not included: To'ufenua and Morteau. The de facto independence of To'ufenua from the now-defunct empire was recognized de jure from the establishment date of the federation. Morteau was granted independence sometime after the federation was formed.

Arbemaisonnes is a historic city situated on the western side of King's Peninsula. It is bordered by the mountainous Thrushcross Moors and the village of King's Road to the east, as well as close to Kiwimango to the south, Ivory Beach to the north, Shire United Nations Island to the west, across the sea. The city has its own warp, '/warp Arbemaisonnes'.

The city's best-known landmark is Castle of King Zaldar II, named after the dethroned Arbemaisonnese Empire king. Arbemaisonnes also includes the Catoptron Castle south of the city center. Other notable buildings include Circuit Arbemaisonnes, an RSF track which was one of the hosts of the First RSF Grand Prix on August 25th, 2023, as well as The Nighthouse and Sunset Theater. Zal Industries, an international conglomerate, and UBIA, an international organization, are based in Arbemaisonnes. Other Arbemaisonnes-native businesses include Hotel Bopayenne, Voyaberge Inn, and Castle Tour Inc.

Warzone Archipelago

Warzone Archipelago is situated northwest of Beauregard's borders, east of Flexner and Thrushcross Moors, as well as northeast of Hermes. The archipelago was once a warzone between the once-disputing Arbemaisonnes Empire and Olympia before their eventual alliance. Remnants of the war are still clearly visible on the islands. The territory is approximately 700 blocks northwest of '/warp Beauregard' and roughly 800 blocks north-slightly-east of '/warp Hermes'.

Curien

Curien is situated in a biome intersection, mainly having plains and forest biomes in its territory, and bordering meadow and taiga biomes. The village is not close to any large ground build, but is adjacent to a large blimp. Although the blimp is not located within Curien's borders, it has become a quasi-landmark for the area. The eastern side of the village has a gate with signs: "Tour de Shire -Walk-" with a pathway that goes to faraway villages, such as Lanolin and Labhaoise, all the way to the Empire Line-crossed Voynich. The village is around 1700-1900 blocks east of '/warp Juravista'.

Cliffort

Cliffort is situated within an intersection of windswept hills and plains biomes, close to Johannesville and another Fox Valley-owned, unnamed Enpeecee village. The village is approximately 1100-1300 blocks west of '/warp Juravista', then slightly about 300 blocks south.

Magician's Town

Magician's Town is situated on the northeastern borders of Juravista. It physically extends to the sea. The town is around 100-150 blocks east of '/warp Juravista'. A notable element of the town is its upside-down farm animals.

History

Flag of Arbemai-sonnes1

The history of King's Federation started with consecutive losses of Arbemaisonnese Empire in the Second To'ufenuan War and Battle of Kiwimango; both losses were experienced under the empire's King Zaldar II. The defeats pushed the empire into increasing taxes on its overseas territories, such as Curien and Magician's Town. This led to political instability across the empire, starting from pro-independence protests in the overseas territories, all the way to protests in Arbemaisonnes, eventually leading up to the revolution that overthrew King Zaldar II. He was subsequently imprisoned in his castle's dungeon. The revolutionaries eventually formed King's Federation, a democratic state encompassing the former territories of the Arbemaisonnese Empire, which were recognized as states within the federation. The name of the new federation was taken from the King's Peninsula, where Arbemaisonnes is located in.
