The Empire Line stands as a vital rail network that spans across the southern and eastern regions of the Shire, linking various captivating destinations along its route. Stretching from the picturesque island of Sunspear in southwestern Oldeshire to the enchanting metropolis of Emerald City in the eastern reaches of the world, this extensive rail system covers an impressive distance of approximately 32 kilometers (20 miles) along it's main route. A non-stop journey from Sunspear to Emerald City offers passengers a seamless and breathtaking experience that lasts for approximately 36 minutes.

The Empire Line's trajectory takes it through a diverse array of regions, providing travelers with glimpses of Oldeshire's southern landscapes, the enchanting Lands of Gaya, the arid terrain of Cactus County, and the mystical realm of Emeraldia. Moreover, a recent expansion of the Empire Line has been introduced, branching off at the historic city of Ebethron. This extension stretches westward into the Demmatrodine region before veering north and culminating at the subterranean village of Pitfall in southwestern Oldeshire. This extension adds an extra 12 minutes to the journey, encompassing a distance of 11.5 kilometers.

Empire Line Stations

  • Sunspear: Commencing its journey on the tranquil desert island of Sunspear, which boasts palm trees and a petite, active volcano.
  • Falore: An exquisite cliffside village concealed within the embrace of a dense forest. This station also provides access to the Zelos Line.
  • Minas: This town, affectionately referred to as Mini Tirith, draws inspiration from the iconic Minas Tirith in the Lord of the Rings, yet remains in a state of partial development.
  • Rabblegard: An ancient fortress and watchtower, preserving the rich history of the region. Passengers can transfer to the Franco Line at this station.
  • Mt. Kokana: A charming small community nestled amid fortified mountain terrain.
  • Ebethron: An awe-inspiring medieval walled city where the Empire Line diverges into its main line and the western extension.
  • Clarisse: A captivating town adorned with cherry blossom, plum leaf, and red oak trees, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
  • Prontera: A city that meticulously retains its medieval walls and is an integral part of the Gaya Alliance, reflecting a rich tapestry of history and culture.
  • Voynich: A quaint Enpeecee village under the governance of the Solurian Empire.
  • Kibarra: An idyllic oceanside resort town renowned for its tropical waters and extensive piers, while also forming a part of the Equos Empire. Passengers can conveniently switch to the Thule Line here.
  • Velaiyre: A town celebrated for its fantastical architectural design, offering travelers access to the Naoki Metro.
  • Palustris: A coastal town located at the far southern tip of Cactus County.
  • Saguaria: A modest desert town situated along the coast, where passengers can make connections to the East Shire Transit line.
  • Baba South: One of two stations catering to the desert settlement of the Sultanate of Baba.
  • Baba City: The second stop within the Sultanate of Baba.
  • Seijin Taz: A small Enpeecee village governed by the Equos Empire.
  • Parkbench: A quaint Enpeecee village characterized by its tranquil atmosphere.
  • Osiria: A settlement under the control of the Crotean Empire.
  • Cactus County: This station is strategically positioned at the heart of Cactus County and houses the Shire International Space Agency (SISA, an esteemed facility dedicated to space exploration.
  • Vespanne: A romantic town boasting cobblestone streets and a sprawling villa estate. It falls under the jurisdiction of the New Sammichian Empire.
  • Nordar: An Enpeecee village controlled by the Athitican Empire, providing connections to either branch of the East Shire Transit line.
  • Hulduhóll: A significant town in the heart of Alfur County, offering transfers to either branch of the East Shire Transit line.
  • Emerald City: A city that transcends conventional boundaries, seamlessly blending elements of fantasy, urban life, and a theme park. The cityscape is adorned with magnificent buildings and statues, leaving visitors awestruck. Emerald City serves as the terminus for the Empire Line and provides connections to the Quintus Line.

Empire Line Extension Stations (Starting in Ebethron)

  • Eville: A small mountain town renowned for its mining and manufacturing activities.
  • Mooshoo: An unusual island town featuring a distinctive landscape with gray mesh of fungus and mycelium, with many buildings designed to resemble mushrooms.
  • To’ufenua: An archipelago town characterized by tightly clustered, small buildings.
  • Sravasti: A desert city located in the Demmatrodine, renowned for its ornate temple complex and well-preserved city walls.
  • Bucketheadland: A captivating theme park nestled in the northeast corner of the Demmatrodine.
  • Pitfall: A charming subterranean village and the northern terminus of the Empire Line Extension, offering connections to the Juris Line and West Shire Rail.
