The West Shire Rail Line winds its way across the western reaches of the Shire, offering passengers a scenic journey through diverse landscapes, from coastal towns to desert oases. Comprising two primary branches, this expansive rail network connects numerous settlements and provides a vital link for travelers in the region.

First Branch

The First Branch of the West Shire Rail Line embarks from the picturesque Thothum in the southwest corner of the Sammarck region. This charming town, known for its distinctive red clay surroundings, marks the inception of a remarkable journey. The rail line then proceeds northward, beckoning passengers to discover the beauty of the region:

  • Sol East: The first of three stations in the capital city of Sol, known as the heart of the Solurian Empire.
  • Sol Central: Located in the heart of Sol, this station provides easy access to the bustling capital city.
  • Sol North: Situated on the northern edge of Sol, travelers can change here for the Second Branch of West Shire Rail.
  • Tomoya: This large island city entices with its unique charm and character.
  • S.U.N. (Shire United Nations): A significant stop along the journey, this station is the gateway to important international diplomatic activities. Passengers can also transfer here to access the Second Branch of West Shire Rail.
  • Ivory Beach: A mid-sized port city known for its coastal allure, with convenient connections to the Aether Line.
  • Activia: A small town under the control of the New Sammichian Empire, offering travelers a glimpse into the region's culture.
  • Kingdom of Taynia: A small seaside kingdom renowned for its medieval city walls.
  • Dawnguard: Perched atop a mountain, this small town is controlled by Svandabar.
  • Arcadia: A quaint town with access to the Aether Line and Cerelia Line.
  • University of Clementine South: Education and exploration await passengers here, with convenient access to the university's southern campus.
  • University of Clementine West: Offering the same educational opportunities, this station provides access to the university's western campus. Passengers can also change here for the Cerelia Line.

Second Branch

The Second Branch of the West Shire Rail Line embarks from the far southwest at Solenste and journeys to the far northwest, reaching Caffa. Along the way, passengers can explore a diverse range of communities and landscapes:

  • Solentse: An important port town boasting maritime activities, Solentse is a bustling hub.

- Gosd: A coastal village where homes seem to float upon giant lily pads, adding to its unique charm.

- Mar: A seaside town featuring robust defensive walls and a rich maritime culture.

- Alwasy: A large desert coastal town characterized by its unique allure.

- Sol South: The southern station of Sol, the Solurian Empire's capital city.

- Sol West: Situated on the west side of Sol, this station offers access to a different facet of the capital.

- Sol North: Passengers can change here for the First Branch of West Shire Rail, creating a seamless travel experience.

- Keikei Bay: A coastal city renowned for its palm trees, orange-roofed buildings, and seafoam-green streets.

- Avignon: Known as the "City of Wine and Splendor," this small settlement boasts a port and modern architectural marvels.

- S.U.N. (Shire United Nations): Access the First Branch of West Shire Rail and engage with international diplomatic activities.

- Phobon: A small town that acts as a gateway to the Aether Line.

- Paarsdam Purpur: Part of the Republiek van Oranje en Purpur, this industrial sector of Paarsdam features canals and modern amenities.

- Downtown Paarsdam: Explore the vibrant heart of Paarsdam.

- Vadam: A unique, ice-walled town where permanent subzero temperatures create a distinctive environment.

- Nobityo: Controlled by the Athitican Empire, this small, stone-constructed town sits upon terraced landscapes.

- Caffa: The journey culminates in this large port city, under the rule of the New Sammichian Empire.

Extensions and Expansions

West Shire Rail has ambitious plans for future extensions, including:

  • Edinburgh Extension: Adding three new stations, this extension connects with the first branch at Keikei Bay. Already partially in service.
  • Purpur Extension: Proposing westward expansion with three additional stations within the Paarsdam area.
  • Elden Extension: A separate line connecting with unique communities such as Akorok City, Bognor Regis, and Withering.

West Shire Rail continues to evolve and expand, offering passengers not only a reliable means of transportation but also a breathtaking journey through the diverse and captivating regions of the western Shire. As construction projects advance, more stations will become accessible, further enhancing the network's reach and convenience for travelers.
