Alpha Pyramid

Ancient Alpha Pyramid, or Alpha Pyramid, is a historic landmark made by BPrieur (a.k.a. Brent), the brother-in-law of The Shire's creator, Ctshiner. BPrieur, who was unknowing of Minecraft game commands, made the pyramid in November 2010 near Spawn to dispose his mined cobblestone. In 2017, Nebbers relocated the pyramid to Cactus County Region.
Location
The pyramid was originally situated near Spawn and north of Bree, with its center at x, z coordinates -155, 350. Server-wise, the original-location pyramid is still accessible through the Yestershire dimension, which can be accessed southwest of "/warp yestershire". Nebbers relocated the pyramid in November 9th, 2017 to the eastern part of The Shire, specifically Cactus County Region, somewhere between Palustris and Karya Kelana Inc. Headquarters as of 2025. The relocated pyramid is close to the Empire Line and is surrounded with rivers (including a river-like strait) on its north, east, and west, while lakes are present to the south and southwest. A sphinx is located to the pyramid's west, as well as a two-story building to its southeast. Meanwhile, the original location is occupied by Alpha Arboretum, part of Schaufensterpuppen. To mark the pyramid's history, a pyramid-shaped Shire Historical Marker was placed on what was once its northeast corner, with x, z coordinates -110, 307.
Structure

Original
The pyramid was originally made of cobblestone at the time of its creation (November 2010). It was later converted to sandstone when the block was first released (possibly after January 13th, 2011, at the time of Java Edition Beta 1.2 release). The pyramid was around 60 blocks high and around 112-114 blocks wide on its sides. Its peak consisted of a four-blocks stack of gold. It was fully situated above a body of water and could be accessed through several entries. Two minecart railway access were present on the pyramid's east and west. However, the western access was damaged by cannon shootings. Some holes on the pyramid's floors towards the water body were also present. The pyramid also had a hole on its peak. The pyramid's exterior corners were lined with torches, while the interior was mostly empty and had grass blocks as its floor. However, torches and glowstones were scattered around its grass floor, and a small maze was placed on its interior's northeast corner.
Relocation
The pyramid retains its original dimension and exterior. However, it loses most of its old accesses, including railways; the only remaining access is its peak hole. Its interior experienced the most change; as of 2025, mazes of various forms have filled its interior floors. The central part of the floor is occupied by a square-shaped space with arranged chests, along with gates on each of its sides to various forms of mazes. The northern and southern mazes mostly resemble a common labyrinth, added with a number of rooms. The eastern maze resembles high-rise miniatures with a torch monument on its center. The western maze is an enclosed space with lines of sandstone pillars; its labyrinth paths are formed by glass blocks, which are also used for its ceilings. Below the floor is a circled pattern of grass blocks that progressively decrease to its center. This lower part is accessible through several holes scattered around the pyramid's floors, including a big hole on the floor's central space. In a Discord chat, Nebbers credited Axsiom and khai15 as the maze creators.
