Karya Kelana is a Cactus County desert region-based territory, currently administered under Karya Kelana Organization (or Karya Kelana Org.) and hosting an established community known as Kelanans. Its main economic activity is Shire Wiki documentation, with other supporting sectors such as realty. Karya Kelana is created by *ParVeil13 (aka Par), Maulid Sudarmo, and Priscilla Magbanua in May 2025 under Karya Kelana Inc., before being converted to Karya Kelana Org. in March 2026.
Cultural ethos
Karya Kelana strives to be a 'lore connector' and collaborate with citizens around the Shiredom. This is done through documenting regions and large builds that are previously not written in The Shire Wiki, while following its wiki disclaimer policy, as well as committing to various forms of collaborations, such as realty collaboration with Terumbu Nagaram National Realtor.
History and development
Pre-operational (2025)
*ParVeil13 first 'transferred' to The Shire in March 2025 from the island of Java, Indonesia, ancestral Earth of humans. He got 'transferred' through a portal called "Gerbang Kelana" ('wandering gate' in Indonesian/Malay), which is situated in the middle of the current company's plaza. Upon his first journey around Cactus County, he is amazed by the vastness of the systems of STA Railway and warps, which made him travel further. These travels led him to Terumbu Nagaram in the far west, which amazed him for its extensive history and common words with his own language back home. After contacts and a small collaboration with Terumbu's sovereign, Zalidia, they decided that an equal friendship is in the best interest of them both. At some point, *ParVeil13 returned to the Gerbang and intended to name the surrounding lands "Pashfi", short for *Parveil13's Showcase Field.
For some reason, other people from around ancestral Earth's Maritime Southeast Asia were also 'transferred' through the Gerbang Kelana. At some point, Par started meeting other Gerbang transferees, Priscilla Dela Cruz Magbanua and Maulid Riyadi Sudarmo, who also wandered through The Shire. Realizing their common identity as transferees, they created Karya Kelana Incorporated in May 26th, 2025. Karya Kelana itself means 'wandering works' in Indonesian/Malay, depicting the company's frequent activities of 'wandering around The Shire'. Members of the company, whether they are Gerbang transferees or not, are collectively called "Kelanans"
Karya Kelana Inc. (2025–2026)
After announcing its establishment, Karya Kelana Inc. focused on its first program, the Cactus County Wiki Expedition. The program created nine articles in 2025, which became a work portfolio for later collaborations, which produced or significantly improved four other articles. The program also produced the Karya Kelana wiki disclaimer policy after a discussion with Hay.
Karya Kelana Inc. also experimented on other projects. An interior renovation project in Beauregard hall was unsuccessful due to insufficient build tools. Later, another project focused on realty was started in Terumbu Nagaram, which sold three buildings in 2025. This led to the company's first overseas branch office. Not long after, Hydra (later Emphases_) offered and constructed another branch office for the company in Rawapura.
The company started establishing its Headquarters territory around Gerbang Kelana through gaining WorldGuard and STA station rights, as well as creating buildings, such as Casa Kelana, Graha Saudara, The Company Plaza, Sopo Godang Boto Sude, Prahu Panggung Inn, and Baba-sponsored Shire Fraternity Mosque. Collaborations with Zalidia also created a Taiatea store branch and Terumbu Nagaram Special Envoy Building. To assert its identity, the company also created its own flag. Its design was inspired by the flag colors of the medieval, maritime Majapahit empire, as well as the company's global, Shire-wide aspirations.
The most important construction project in 2025 was that of Jassin-Mojares Shire Heritage Library (later Karya Kelana Library). It aims to provide accessibility to Shire-made books for every player, regardless of rank. The building was made by the help of other companies: Oranjestad's Nebworks worked on the terraforming, while New Clementine's Simcorp worked on the architecture. The library collaborated with several libraries and bookstore franchises around the Shire to gather book collections.
In 2026, the company expanded its activities. The company secured the rights to revitalize the Alpha Pyramid and began constructing its tourist station. The company also cooperated with the N't² franchise for its store opening in the Headquarters. The Cactus County Wiki Expedition succeeded in creating an original concept through the proposing of Baba Cultural Realm. The Buddhist temple, Vihara Padma Dharma Laurelia, is completed in January.
By late February 2026, Karya Kelana Inc. declared a non-operative period. During this period, Maulid Riyadi Sudarmo resigned from his position as Head of Knowledge Management and General Affairs Division amid the insufficient rate of knowledge creation and rumors of creating unauthorized communication with external parties. He is succeeded by João Te Ariki de Carvalho.
Karya Kelana Org. (2026–Present)
On March 2nd-4th, 2026, Karya Kelana Inc. organized a town hall meeting to establish the conversion of the company to the non-profit Karya Kelana Organization (or Karya Kelana Org.). The executives of the organization took a religious vow in front of Karya Kelana's interreligious leaders to fulfill targets within a year, including three projects of collective benefit and the completion of Cactus County Wiki Expedition. For-profit rights and responsibilities still apply, but are limited to Karya Kelana Org. Enterprises, a for-profit subsidiary of the organization. At separate occasions within the same schedule, Maulid Riyadi Sudarmo founded Warta Kelana News Agency, and Putra Marhaen founded Karya Kelana Workers' Union; both would later attend the closing of the town hall meeting.
On March 14th 2026, its Division of Innovation, Knowledge Management and General Affairs is split to Division of Innovation and Knowledge Affairs (led by Carvalho), Division of Infrastructural Development (led by Siti Noraziza binti Shah), and Division of General Affairs (led by Nicodeamus Sagala). Executive actions are immediately made after these reforms, including the construction of Phean-Thma Avenue, Gayatri Road, the change of the Jassin-Mojares Shire Heritage Library to Karya Kelana Library, and cooperation agreement with Lost Commonwealth to execute the Lost Commonwealth Wiki Expedition, with Supachai Chevapravatdumrong (aka Spencer Cheva) as the head of the expedition and the acting Lost Commonwealth branch head.
Territory of Karya Kelana
The territory of Karya Kelana is situated along the Empire Line between Saguaria and Sultanate of Baba. The buildings can be roughly divided into three clusters according to their adjacent thoroughfare.
Structures on the Gerbang Plaza
- The Gerbang Plaza has the Gerbang Kelana on its center.
- Graha Saudara (Brotherhood Building) is made to celebrate the friendship between Karya Kelana and Terumbu Nagaram, and is styled with a mixed Temburan and Javanese style. The Graha also functions as a visitors' center and a gate to Karya Kelana's STA station.
- Karya Kelana STA Station, functional from September 5th 2025. Inspired by Balinese architecture, which is most apparent by its candi bentar (split gateway). The station serves the Empire Line.
- Casa Kelana (Headquarters Building) is a three-story (including attic) buliding, stylized with a Bahay na Bato-styled exterior, originally from the Philippines.
Structures on Bayanihan Avenue
- Bayanihan Avenue stretches westward from The Company Plaza. The road is named after bayanihan, the Filipino term for communal spirit.
- Prahu Panggung Inn, a four-room inn for Karya Kelana guests and executives. Inspired by Indonesian stilt houses and traditional boats. Functional since September 5th 2025.
- Sopo Godang Boto Sude (wedding/multipurpose hall), a Batak-styled wedding hall with guidelines all over its pillars. Originally a Tyrule build by *ParVeil13, pasted to main by Nebbers on September 5th 2025. Exteriors are based on Terumbu Nagaram buildings (with permission by Zalidia), with colors based on Indonesian cakes.
- Taiatea Nui Karya Kelana, a random-item store chain of Totuaka origin. Its roof structure is based on Javanese multi-tiered roofs. Functional since September 7th 2025.
- Terumbu Nagaram Special Envoy Building, a building that oversees socio-cultural exchange between Terumbu Nagaram and Karya Kelana.
- N't² Karya Kelana store, made by Fertoman in January 2026.
- An empty kiosk reserved for Hay's Falafels.
- Karya Kelana Library, or KK Lib, possibly the most important building in Karya Kelana. The library concept presents Karya Kelana-made books in numbered lecterns to make it accessible for all players, from Gaijins to Lords. The books are curated to ensure that the displayed books have informative or artistic merit.
Structures on Amihanan Road and Religio Road
- Amihanan Road, a road that serves as an access to intercity path roads. The road's name comes from the Cebuano term for "north", since the road goes northward from the Complex.
- Religio Road, a road that circles the Sopo Godang Boto Sude and hosts religious buildings.
- Amanami Ecumenical Church, a church that serves both Catholic Mass and Protestant Service on separate hours. Its roof is modelled after Batak Pakpak traditional roofs. The patron saint of the church's Catholic community is Saint Salvatore of Caffa.
- Shire Fraternity Mosque (Masjid Al-Ukhuwwat fi Al-Shayer), open to various Islamic denominations. The building is constructed based on Southeast Asian-style mosques (with multi-tiered roof) and was funded by Shaykh Shabir Al-Babaluni, an Islamic scholar from Baba.
- Vihara Padma Dharma Laurelia, a Buddhist temple; it also accommodates a separate Mathaanist congregation on separate hours.
