Yeomen have green titles.

The Yeoman rank on the Shire server signifies a significant progression for members who have successfully navigated the Tyro phase. As a Yeoman, individuals gain expanded building privileges and additional responsibilities within the Shire community.

Advancement to Yeoman

To attain the Yeoman rank, members must first progress from the Tyro rank by demonstrating their commitment and building skills. Typically, members need to complete at least one well-developed project, such as a house, showcasing their dedication to contributing positively to the server.

Building Privileges

Yeomen are granted full Creative mode access, providing them with more expansive opportunities to contribute to the server's landscape. This includes the ability to build in various regions, including the Wilderness and Yeoman-friendly cities such as Minas Tirith, Equos, or Beauregard. Additionally, Yeomen may receive invitations to collaborate on projects in other regions.

As a Yeoman (or Duke, if you donated), you're given the privilege to build anywhere in the main world. The choice of construction is yours. Yeomen also gain access to the survival server by using the command /server Survival.

Building Guidelines and Etiquette

While enjoying extended building freedoms, Yeomen are expected to adhere to the server's Building Rules and guidelines, ensuring that construction activities align with the community's values and contribute positively to the overall server environment. This includes being considerate of the land you claim for building—only claim what you intend to develop soon.

Yeomen should know their building limits, aim to complete ambitious projects, and be mindful of the surroundings to maintain harmony with existing structures. It's advised to avoid building too close to another member's project without their consent. Staff intervention is possible if there's an infringement within 100 blocks of another build.

Collaboration and Community

Yeoman are free to play solo or collaborate with others. Building in teams, regardless of members' ranks, raises the standard for quality and potential rank promotion. Excessive reliance on WorldEdit and VoxelSniper tools, which are not yet available to Yeomen, will be taken into consideration when promoting to the next rank.

Transition to Higher Ranks

A natural progression from the Yeoman rank involves moving to higher ranks such as Maven. This transition typically occurs when members continue to demonstrate outstanding building skills and a positive influence on the server. See Maven rank page for more details.

Conclusion

The Yeoman rank represents a pivotal stage in a member's journey within the Shire server. With expanded building privileges, responsibilities, and a commitment to community guidelines, Yeomen play a vital role in shaping the server's landscape and fostering a positive and creative environment. Their ability to build anywhere in the main world, coupled with access to creative mode and the survival server, underscores their significant role in the Shire community.
