Tanima is a scenic community nestled between two towering mountains in north-central Oldeshire. Its location, west of Synagogue and southeast of Tyrozone, provides a picturesque setting, surrounded by nature's grandeur. The community is a blend of ancient history and more modern architecture, making it a unique destination in Oldeshire.

Ancient Temple Complex

The origins of Tanima can be traced back to an ancient white quartz Greek-style temple complex, perched at the peak of the west mountain. This temple, accessible via a long winding staircase from the mountain's base, is shrouded in mystery, with its original purpose remaining unclear. Its majestic location and architectural elegance attract visitors.

Modern Community Development

Tanima's newer community was developed later by the prolific builder and Shire Architect Keikei. This newer development is characterized by its picturesque homes with thatched roofs, red brick, and white siding, contributing to the village's charming and cohesive aesthetic. In total, there are 13 large homes in Tanima, each contributing to the community's serene and welcoming atmosphere.

The village also boasts a large multi-purpose community center, serving as a hub for social gatherings and various village activities. This center, along with the wheat fields that weave through the community, underscores Tanima's commitment to communal living and agriculture.

Surrounding Attractions

Adjacent to Tanima lies an ancient, steep-sided quarry. This quarry, now capped for protection, adds to the historical landscape of the area. North of the mountains, a large traditional longhouse stands, serving as a venue for community feasts and festivals.
