Range Guild Village is a strategically located walled village in eastern Oldeshire, nestled on the north side of the Sakura Mountains. Situated directly south of Camelot, west of Sakura, and east of Duomo, this village was established by Robert09wils and serves as a significant center for archery and guild activities.

Overview

The village's location against the Sakura Mountains provides it with a natural scenic backdrop and strategic advantage. It is well-connected to the wider region of Oldeshire through a small train station that offers access to the Skira Line, facilitating easy travel for residents and visitors.

As the base camp for the Range Guild, a renowned archery guild known for offering its services as huntsmen or mercenaries, the village plays a crucial role in training and supporting archers. The guild's presence has shaped the village's identity and purpose, making it a hub for archery enthusiasts and professionals.

Range Guild Village is fortified with a tall, sturdy wall constructed from large timbers, providing security and a distinct aesthetic. Within these walls, the village houses several amenities designed to support the guild members. These include a fletcher for arrow-making, an archery training area, a sawmill, and competition grounds for archery contests. Additionally, the village features a community garden, a quartz mine, and a grain windmill, all contributing to the self-sufficiency and economic vitality of the community.

Most buildings within the village are constructed of stripped timbers, in keeping with the rustic and functional style suited to the guild's activities.

The village's proximity to the Sakura Mountains allows many of its buildings to be integrated into the mountain itself. One notable structure conceals a large opening leading to an extensive cavern within the mountains. This cavern opens into a long tunnel stretching south, deep underground, eventually connecting to Caldwell Hall in New Orange City.

The origins of this tunnel are shrouded in mystery and are believed to be man-made, possibly constructed by the ancient Calantha civilization that existed in the area over 5,000 years ago.
