Pitfall, an unassuming underground village located in the depths of southwest Oldeshire, quietly holds a significant role as a vital junction in the region's railway network. Situated not far from The Hilltop Hotel and New Vashon, Pitfall serves as a crucial crossroads connecting the Empire Line, Juris Line, and West Shire Rail, with the Empire Line originating right within the village.

The origins of Pitfall trace back to its establishment as a mining settlement, a collaborative effort between Andrewjamz and Shrowdedangel. Within the solid stone walls of this underground enclave, several homes provide shelter and comfort to its industrious residents. Accessible from the village, a network of tunnels delves into the earth, leading to the heart of the mine.

But Pitfall is more than just a mining outpost. This subterranean haven boasts a vibrant community life, including a welcoming tavern, a hydroponic farming center, and even a hidden area where pigs, chickens, and sheep thrive far beneath the surface. The village's central market plaza, nestled amidst its stone chambers, offers space for 12 vendor stalls, where goods and stories are exchanged.

Delving deeper into the underground labyrinth, one can discover a remarkable grove of trees, nurtured by artificial light. Nearby, a small cemetery pays homage to the memory of those who have ventured into the depths of Pitfall.
