The Sanctuary of Perindeus is a majestic yet unfinished structure located in the western region of Oldeshire, directly northeast of Stonegate. This cathedral-like edifice, believed to have been initiated by Batmins, remains an emblematic figure of architectural ambition and unfulfilled potential in the area.

Overview

The sanctuary's current state reveals a grand vision, with its layout resembling that of a traditional cathedral. However, several walls of the sanctuary are conspicuously absent, and two of its towers remain incomplete. Despite its unfinished condition, the structure's existing elements showcase the intricate design and ambitious scale intended by its original architect.

Over the years, The Sanctuary of Perindeus has stood silently, abandoned and exposed to the elements, becoming a poignant symbol of halted progress. Various public fundraising campaigns have been launched with the hope of reviving and completing the construction of the sanctuary. Unfortunately, these efforts have not yet borne fruit, leaving the sanctuary in a perpetual state of incompletion.

The project remains open to interested architects who might wish to take on the challenge of completing The Sanctuary of Perindeus. The potential for this structure to become a completed edifice is a tantalizing prospect for the architectural and historical community of Oldeshire, holding the promise of transforming an unfinished dream into a tangible reality.
