Disneyland
Disneyland is a quaint, walled island community located northwest of the Mainland. Known for its pastoral charm and modest architecture, Disneyland has evolved from its initial settlement by Lawnmower69 to a remodeled haven under the guidance of Shire renovators Spaicol and Smoot in 2019.
Overview
Situated as an island northwest of the Mainland, Disneyland's geographical positioning lends it a sense of isolation and tranquility. The community is encompassed by a thin, rectangular-shaped wall, featuring four tall watchtowers at each corner.
Originally settled by Lawnmower69, Disneyland underwent significant remodeling in 2019. The renovation efforts by Spaicol and Smoot infused new life into the community, while preserving its historical essence.
Despite its small size, Disneyland boasts several notable structures and amenities:
- Small Farm: Located just outside the walls, thick with wheat.
- Castle: A small castle in moderate disrepair, featuring a ballroom with a throne reserved for “Beans”, a cat.
Internal Structures:
- Disneyland Stables: Catering to the equestrian needs of residents.
- Duplex Complex: Housing six units, contributing to the residential variety.
- Small Chapel: A spiritual center for the community.
- Apartment Building: A four-unit building providing additional living space.
- Blacksmith: Serving the practical needs of the community.
- Large Barn: Essential for agricultural storage and activities.
- Disneyland Schoolhouse: A center for education within the walls.
- Farmers Market: Featuring four vendors, it’s a hub for local produce and goods.
- Community Center: A large facility for gatherings and events.
- Shopping Building: Housing a restaurant and shopping area, it's a focal point for commerce.
Most buildings in Disneyland are characterized by their birch and seafoam green coloration, with tiled roofs. This color scheme adds a unique aesthetic to the community.
To the south of the community, outside the walls, lies a large dock capable of accommodating six small ships. This dock is vital for transportation and trade, connecting Disneyland to neighboring areas.
Disneyland, though described as unremarkable, is a community rich in history and simplicity. Its combination of agricultural, residential, and commercial structures creates a balanced and cohesive small-town atmosphere.
