Nestled at the northeast base of the majestic Skylan Mountain, Meijin Hills stands as a testament to the dynamic evolution of New Orange City. Bounded by the Budapest River to the east, Atoms For Peace Highway and Skylan Expressway to the north and west, and directly south of Brahmin Beach neighborhood, Meijin Hills is a bustling urban enclave with a rich history and a vibrant mix of industrial and commercial activities.

History

Founded in 1880 as a residential neighborhood, Meijin Hills initially garnered acclaim for its diverse architectural styles, showcasing a harmonious blend of designs that spoke to the aspirations and dreams of its early residents. However, the rapid industrialization of New Orange City led to a transformation of Meijin Hills. By 1940, the neighborhood was in the throes of change, transitioning into a vital industrial and commercial hub to meet the city's growing demands.

The 1960s marked a pivotal period in Meijin Hills' history, as the original homes that once adorned the landscape were either demolished or relocated to make way for the burgeoning industrial developments. This transformation catapulted Meijin Hills into a dense urban center, bustling with activity and economic vitality.

Geography

Meijin Hills boasts a unique geographical feature—the expansive open-air pit known as Chrundel, which descends 60 meters below sea level, connecting Meijin Hills with the subterranean Neo-Lusus neighborhood. Chrundel, itself a subdistrict within Meijin Hills, houses a vibrant community with a mix of residences and businesses.

A notable landmark in Meijin Hills is one of the four massive pillars anchoring the Ring of Kefir.

Behind the Scenes

Meijin Hills was originally the relocated Tyro Museum. Shire Arbiter Lord_Drekar (now Lord) created a place where great Tyro builds could be put on display. Lord nebbers needed to fill the empty space south of Brahmin Beach and relocated the Tyro Museum to Meijin Hills. "Meijin" in Japanese means 'highly skilled master of a certain field'.

As Oranjestad expanded, the Tyro Museum was dispersed - most of the buildings were relocated to the space between Oranjestad and New Venice, along the highway.

General Tyrone built a log cabin on Tyro Hill, a small hill overlooking Budapest River and the surrounding flat, heavily forested and swampy land.
