Motu Maufare is an island of To'ufenua in the Maumoturoa archipelago. It is the smallest inhabited island of To'ufenua and has one beach, which makes up about 50% of the entire island.

Economy

Economically speaking, Motu Maufare is completely dependent on Motu Oire, as Motu Maufare itself is mainly residential. Most people on Motu Maufare own a business on Motu Oire.

Politics

Motu Maufare and Motu Oire are working together very closely to try and keep up with the way larger and more prosperous island Totuaka, and they sort of have to since they depend upon each other. Motu Maufare however barely has a government to speak of. More like a council of a bunch of local business owners that discuss issues with the local government of Motu Oire, who happily cooperate with them. The Arbemaisonnese Empire used this island to build nuclear weapons and has a grand total of one missile silo, which has singlehandedly allowed To'ufenua to stay de facto independent by threatening to use the nuclear weapons against the Arbemaisonnese. This one island has historically been the most significant island of To'ufenua. The national government of To'ufenua has full power over the nuclear capabilities of the small island.
