Little Beauregard
Little Beauregard, a quaint and relatively recent addition to the tapestry of New Orange City, finds its niche nestled between the neighborhoods of Homestead to the north, Brahmin Beach to the south, Summit to the west, and the town of Budapest to the east. This small community, situated alongside the Budapest River, exudes a unique charm influenced by its origins and purposeful design.
Settlement and Architecture
The roots of Little Beauregard are intertwined with its larger counterpart, Beauregard, a city located in the far west of Oldeshire. Established in the 1980s on a once-empty and wooded hillside, Little Beauregard was envisioned as a haven for residents hailing from Beauregard, bringing with them the distinct architectural flavor of the western city. The buildings in Little Beauregard proudly showcase Beauregardian architecture, characterized by the prominent use of sandstone adorned with terracotta and prismarine tiles.
Geographical Placement
Little Beauregard enjoys a picturesque setting with the Budapest River gracing its western border and the breathtaking skyline of Summit just beyond. The neighborhood is seamlessly connected to Lusus via a large descending spiral road. Directly beneath Little Beauregard lies the Juris Train Station in Lusus, adding a layer of connectivity to the broader transportation network.
Structures
Little Beauregard comprises a modest ensemble of 15 structures, each contributing to the unique character of the neighborhood. Noteworthy among them is "The Overlook Hotel," standing out with its red brick and white exterior, complemented by dark green terracotta accents. This non-Beauregardian styled building features an indoor pool and offers 20 hotel rooms.
The majority of structures in Little Beauregard, a total of 12, are built in the distinctive Beauregard style.
