Palustris flag

Palustris is a savanna town led by Baron pc1894, located southernmost of Cactus County desert region. Palustris is symbolized by a flag that features a vertical triband of a white middle band with an orange circle at the center, added with orange outer bands that bends around the circle.

Geography

Palustris is situated in a hilly savanna biome on the southern coast of the Cactus County desert region, where a river ends in the town. The town also includes two islands, with the smaller one housing the Palustris Castle. The town borders the region's deserts in the north, with linear defensive wall shielding the town from it. The town is a neighbor of Saguaria in the northwest and Keitopia in the southwest. Other towns or cities that are across Palustris's seas are Willemstad in the south and Saltworth in the west.

Structures

Palustris skyline

Palustris features the Palustris Castle as its landmark, along with wood-based vernacular buildings generally featuring two to four stories and an attic. The town has two squares, one in the southeast and one in the north (named Vornschmidt Square). The hilltops of Palustris features small temple-like structures made from prismarine walls and golden roof. Outside of these places, Palustris also contains a small cemetery, three bridges (including one to the castle), a lighthouse, and a tower separated from other building groups. The tower is placed northeast and has three 'stacks', each approximately equivalent in height to three stories. Within Palustris's WorldGuard jurisdiction, there is a tower on its southern sea made of diorite and magma blocks. An airship is visible on Palustris's sky.

Palustris Castle

Palustris Castle is the residence of Baron pc1894, situated in Palustris's western island. Surrounded by seawater as its natural moat, the castle is connected by a bridge in its eastern side; the bridge leads to the city's fort, which is the main entrance from the castle to the town. The castle features a great hall building, four towers, and two battlements on its northern and southern sides. It has four levels: the first and second levels are indoors; the third features the great hall's roof connected to the battlements' crenels (upper spaces); the fourth is the rooftops of the towers.

Palustris Castle's entrance door leads directly into the throne room with orange-and-white triband carpet; the throne is labeled with "pc1894 - Baron of Palustris". Adjacent to the throne room, the Castle has a small farming space, a small garden, a kitchen, a room for multiple beds (possibly for workers), and an entertainment room. Stairs can be accessed through its eastern rooms. The second level has a dining hall on its center, along with the Baron's office, bedroom, library, and bathroom.

Southeastern square

The southeastern square has a stone-based, water-featuring monument on its center, and provides easy access to transportation modes: the Empire Line-serving Palustris station, as well as the warp spot '/warp Palustris'. Buildings around the square include a Sammich's House, a Taz's House, an Ayu's Pub, a woodshed, and five street stalls.

Vornschmidt Square

Vornschmidt Square, located in northern Palustris, has a prismarine-based monument with a door on its side, marked: "Only the damned may enter". There are four street stalls around the plaza, including a lemonade stall. Buildings around the plaza include a Costa Copy Grande building, as well as a market building which hosts:

  • Mists of the Hague: Dangerously Hot Tea and Coffee (1st level)
  • Le Troll Du Promenade: Fine Clothing and Accessories (1st level)
  • Keikei's Wyrms and Dreks (2nd level)
  • Odrekle's Oddities and Teahouse (3rd level)
  • Hay's Falafels (4th level)
  • a possible garden plants shop (attic)
