The Gateway Line was a short regional railway operated by the Shire Transit Authority (STA), serving as the primary rail connection between Dunemar and Juris. Officially opening on April 19, 2026, the line played an important role in the eastern expansion of the Commonwealth rail network, bringing passenger rail service to several newly developing communities.

Although relatively short in length, the Gateway Line laid the foundation for future rail development across eastern Oldeshire. Following an agreement between the STA and the Lost Commonwealth, the line ceased independent operations on July 31, 2026, and was officially absorbed into the Dulcia Line on August 1, 2026. The merger transformed the former branch into part of a longer regional corridor, improving accessibility while preserving service to every station along the route.

History

April 19, 2026 – The Gateway Line officially opens, providing the first direct railway connection between Dunemar and Juris and marking the beginning of the STA's eastern expansion.

July 31, 2026 – The Gateway Line completes its final day of independent operations.

August 1, 2026 – Following a joint agreement between the STA and the Lost Commonwealth Government, the Gateway Line is formally incorporated into the Dulcia Line, becoming part of an expanded global railway.
