Shire Grand Amphitheatre was created by Liandria21 & KuitehKui, and is protected under Glompuia Kingdom territories. The structure was established on September 19, 2015, and had it's official opening a week later through Shire's First Annual Open-Mic Night on September 27, 2015. Shire Grand Amphitheatre's structure style is based off Ancient Greek Amphitheatre designs. Many of the parts are similar to the original, including the diazomata, the prohedria, the theatron, the kerkis, the klimakes, the orchestra, the altar, the thymele, the analemmata, etc.. Backstage's design is slightly more unique because while it still maintains many similar structures to the original Amphitheatre such as the paradoi, the proskenion, the skene, the portus post scaenas, the paraskenia, etc.; the backstage/backdrop is Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet themed. In order to make the theme work, the original structures for the backstage/backdrop were altered slightly.

Shire Grand Amphitheatre is the place to go if you want to enjoy tragic plays such as Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, Death and the King's Horsemen, A Streetcar Named Desire, etc., or even comedic plays such as The Merchant of Venice, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest, A Doll's House, The Importance of Being Earnest, etc.. As it nears the time of September, also be sure to keep your eye out for announcement of the Annual Shire Open-Mic Night!

Just remember: the amphitheatre is a no-judging zone! The stage can be a scary place, so if someone is up there performing for you, cheer them up don't tear them down.
