Olde Orangetown, the oldest part of New Orange City, stands as a historic and vibrant neighborhood within the heart of the city. This central business district, boasting a rich tapestry of culture, commerce, and landmarks, is steeped in a legacy that has shaped Oranjestad's identity.

History

Established as the cradle of Oranjestad, Olde Orangetown traces its roots to the city's inception. Sites such as The Rainbow Towers, Explorer’s Guild Memorial Clocktower, and Sombrero Tower stand as testaments to the neighborhood's historical significance.

Geography & Location

Olde Orangetown is centrally located within the city. Haverhill sits to the north, Summit to the east, Alfa Beach to the south, and Parkview Island to the west. It also sits directly above the Submerciful neighborhood. Olde Orangetown's strategic location enhances its connectivity and accessibility within the city.

Olde Orangetown is adorned with architectural marvels such as Sombrero Tower, Dalaam Tower, and Florentine Pogen Tower, each having claimed the title of the city's tallest structure at various points in history. The FlightWave Building, a world-renowned landmark, draws admirers and enthusiasts alike.

The neighborhood offers a plethora of shopping opportunities, and its skyline, adorned with high-rises, is a renowned feature. Outdoor sculptures and green spaces, including Cluggish Square beneath Florentine Pogen Tower, provide residents and visitors with areas for relaxation and recreation.
