The Nysa Line is a vital rail network that traverses the heart of the Shire, connecting key regions and cities, while also branching off to reach distant corners of this vast world. Stretching from Venezia Nuova in south-central Oldeshire, the Nysa Line offers an essential transportation link for both residents and travelers. With its primary route and two distinct branches, the Nysa Line provides access to numerous unique destinations.

Main Route

The main route of the Nysa Line begins at Venezia Nuova, a bustling transportation hub that offers connections to other major rail lines, including Dulcia Line, Aether Line, Juris Line, Franco Line, and Empire Line. As the journey commences, passengers are treated to a diverse range of landscapes and destinations:

  • Novus: A quaint walled coastal village controlled by the Commonwealth of Venezia Nuova.
  • Disputatio Insular: Renowned for its outsized train station and a remarkable rainbow-colored skyscraper that dominates the skyline. Passengers can transfer here to the Quintus Line.
  • Duncaroo: A medieval gem on Blacknight Island, complete with castle towers, crenelated walls, and an imposing drawbridge.
  • Blacknight Tower: North of Duncaroo, this dizzyingly tall mausoleum and worship center is a significant landmark.
  • Balesgar: An archipelago of floating islands suspended above the eastern sea, bridging Oldeshire and Vallachia.
  • Architect: Also known as the Rose Byrne Meteorite Lake, this natural wonder features a naturally formed crater with white quartz walls.
  • Athitica: The seat of power of the Athitican Empire. Passengers can change here for the Skira Line.
  • Shrowded: Shrowded Island boasts authentic medieval walls, towers, and shops.
  • Europa: A large underwater complex with 11 underwater domes interconnected by tunnels.
  • Hyrule: The Hyrule Interchange, where passengers can transfer to the Hestia Line or the second branch of the Nysa Line.

1st Branch

The first branch of the Nysa Line extends from the Hyrule Interchange and takes travelers on an intriguing journey through various towns and cities, each with its unique charm:

  • Alsma: A small town under the control of the Puck Syndicate.
  • Rougeport: A quaint port town in northeast Oldeshire.
  • Whail: Known for its impressive clocktower, passengers can change here for the Cerelia Line.
  • Orikami: A large city famous for its modern skyscrapers. Passengers can transfer here to the Quintus Line.
  • Aberdeen: A town renowned for its red brick buildings.
  • Havana: A city steeped in rich history, featuring canals and captivating architecture. Passengers can change here for the Thule Line.
  • Midrule: A charming small town characterized by its distinctive orange and dark red brick buildings.
  • Laurelian: The final destination of this branch, Laurelian, is a fantastical city nestled in the far northeast.

2nd Branch

The second branch of the Nysa Line, originating from Hyrule, offers its own set of enchanting destinations:

  • Corrion: A well-maintained medieval town with formidable defensive fortifications.
  • Brosillon: Known for its wide avenues, extensive plots, and the Lugubron Forest neighborhood featuring massive sequoia trees.
  • New Lothlorien: A small treehouse village nestled in the heart of nature.
  • Leuton: A large coastal town situated south of Exton. Passengers can transfer here to the Quintus Line.
  • Valashu: An island city that serves as the terminus of this branch, offering connections to the East Shire Transit.
