Lothlorien
Lothlorien is a unique and enchanting tree village situated in the west-central region of Oldeshire. Known for its harmonious integration with nature, this small community is a testament to sustainable and imaginative living.
Overview
Lothlorien is nestled in a densely packed forest south of Corvid and east of Silex-Civis. The village is surrounded by towering trees, some reaching up to 90 meters in height, with the largest tree measuring approximately 30 meters in width at its base.
Founded in the early days of the Shire by TubaplayerTX, an early Arbiter, Lothlorien was envisioned as a village in harmony with its natural surroundings. The village's development has been guided by this principle since its inception.
Lothlorien's architecture is characterized by its use of natural materials, primarily oak planks and logs, which blend seamlessly with the forest environment. The village consists of a collection of treehouses, each intricately designed and constructed to coexist with the towering trees.
At ground level, the pathways are adorned with gold inlays, adding a touch of elegance and distinction to the village’s rustic charm.
Lothlorien offers a range of facilities and amenities that cater to the needs and interests of its residents:
- Ballroom: A venue for gatherings and celebrations, set amidst the natural beauty of the forest.
- Dining Area and Library: Central areas for community interaction, offering spaces for dining and reading.
- Train Station: The village is connected to the broader region through the Quintus Line, facilitating travel and trade.
- Shopping Area: A hub for local commerce, showcasing goods and crafts from the village and surrounding areas.

- Church and Town Center: Serving as the spiritual and administrative heart of the community.

Immediately south of Lothlorien lies a small, walled Shinto temple complex, constructed by Nessaka. This temple adds a spiritual and cultural dimension to the area, complementing the village’s ethos of harmony and tranquility.
Lothlorien continues to thrive as a model of eco-friendly and community-oriented living. The village’s commitment to sustainability and its blend of traditional and modern amenities make it a unique and attractive place to live and visit.
