The entire town of Homestar Port is ingeniously constructed on a floating dock, making it a remarkable architectural feat. The town represents an authentic example of early Shire architecture. Developed during the same era as Bree, the town has retained much of its original charm, undergoing minimal cosmetic changes since its inception.

Functioning as a manmade harbor, Homestar Port facilitates the constant movement of shipping vessels and passenger ships. Its strategic location between Mainland and New Orange City makes it a vital maritime hub.

The town is comprised of a collection of mid-rise buildings, 14 in total, and each ranging between 4 and 6 stories. These mixed-use buildings, combining businesses on lower floors with living spaces above, have undergone minimal alterations, preserving the town's authentic character. Homestar Port attracts tourists seeking an immersive experience into Shire's past. The clocktower, perched over the main channel, stands as Homestar Port's tallest and most iconic building. The Homestar Drawbridge, crafted by Darklordmo Industries, serves as the primary link between Homestar Port and the Mainland.
