Hearthstone, self-described as a city but realistically the size of a small town, is a unique settlement in the southeastern corner of Oldeshire. Founded by C. Plummer, Hearthstone is distinguished by its radical and bold architectural designs that defy conventional norms and stand as a testament to creative expression.

Overview

Situated in southeastern Oldeshire, Hearthstone's location contributes to its distinct identity. The town was established by C. Plummer, who envisioned a community marked by architectural innovation and daring designs.

Located in the south along the coastline, the Sigil Watchtower of Hearthstone is a navigational aid for nearby ships, featuring four large flames that burn continuously on its roof.

North of the watchtower, Shadow Temple's striking exterior combines gray stone and dark purple obsidian, capped with a dark red brick roof. Inside, four large columns support the structure, adorned with gold inlays, and the rear of the temple opens partially to the outdoors.

The heart of Hearthstone includes 5 homes and the main train station, connecting the town via the Thule Line and the Quintus Line.

To the east, a massive, partially constructed building with Corinthian columns stands as a symbol of unfulfilled ambitions. The exterior is white quartz stone with black roofing and red terracotta trim, but the structure remains incomplete with exposed sections.

To the north is the Tower of Wisdom, made of solid iron and black obsidian. It emits a beacon of light skyward, though its purpose remains a mystery.

On the west side, the original building of the settlement, Hearthstone Castle, showcases unique architecture. Not built for strong fortification, it features chiseled stone, black obsidian, dark red brick trim, and massive glass walls. Two walls on the upper level are formed from cascading water, creating a water-wall effect.

South of the castle lies a large house and a public garden, adding to the community's living spaces. To the west of the castle, another tower, similar to the Tower of Wisdom but incomplete and partially constructed with iron and gray stone, sends several beacons into the sky.

Hearthstone's community is defined by its appreciation for architectural artistry and unconventional designs. The town's structures, from the Sigil Watchtower to the unique Hearthstone Castle, reflect a bold approach to architecture and urban planning.
