Fox Valley (Formally known as the Federal Republic of Fox Valley) is a small town with no population and no houses. Pure wilderness. Fresh air is quite nice until you realize that the grass you are touching isn't actually grass.

City history (Screenshots)

For the period that Fox Valley has been an established city, there have been many historical photographs taken. Unfortunately, many of these photos have been lost forever due to a formatted hard drive and the clumsiness of Foxytisy not making a backup of the screenshots folder.

All recovered photos can be viewed in the Laakso Films historical photo library.

Geography

The Federal Republic of Fox Valley is located in a unique position that is surrounded by vast mountainous terrain and deep water reserves which have shaped the city you know today.

Climate

The overall climate of Fox Valley is recorded to be frigid as this region is surrounded by mountain ranges and cold ocean reserves. Overall yearly climate temperature averages at around ~18°C in the North-West side of Fox Valley, while dropping to a chilly ~8°C in the Eastern parts of Kettulaakso [1]. The mountainous terrain to the southern part of Fox Valley is also a factor that helps block the warm air coming in.

The shores of Fox Valley and Kettulaakso are washed by cold ocean waters and winds, further decreasing the temperature of these regions.

Tectonics

m
Drawn on Tissue paper a rough estimate of the tectonic plates that surround FV.

Fox Valley region is surrounded by sensitive and active tectonic plates resulting in a common spawning of earthquakes as well as the forming of the nearby mountainous terrain.

Fox Valley has been prone to frequent earthquakes many times before. These activities have yet to be fully recorded and archived as currently all of the detected earthquake readings have been recorded on simple devices and there is insufficient place to store and record all of this data [2] [3].

Footnotes

[1] Recorded temperatures were observed from May 26th 2023 till July 26th 2023.

[2] All of the current recordings have been made since 1988.

[3] The Fox Valley government recently issued a statement about the potential collapse risk of buildings constructed before 1900 (known as prior Fox Valley). Unfortunately, it seems that many of these efforts are not taken seriously.
