Ceres Artemis is a futuristic floating city located off the eastern coast of the Postrema region. Suspended high above the ocean on massive support pylons and sprawling white bridges, Ceres Artemis is considered one of the most architecturally complex and visually striking settlements in the area. It was designed and built by cakefornoreason, with construction beginning around 2018. The city sits southeast of Modaora and northwest of Boggle Swamp. It is not currently connected to any major rail lines and is reachable only by air or sea.

Design and Layout

The design of Ceres Artemis is defined by its clean white palette, futuristic elements, and tiered floating platforms. A massive central support column anchors the city vertically, rising from the sea floor and containing a spiral rail system that runs the full height of the structure. This internal shaft serves as the city’s main elevator and vertical transit hub.

Above the column, the city spreads out into several floating platforms connected by a network of wide walkways, suspended bridges, and curved staircases. The architecture is modular and symmetrical, composed of clean-cut quartz, glass, and sea lanterns, giving the city a luminous, ethereal quality.

Notable Features

  • Central Dome and Garden Tower: The city's focal point is a towering glass-and-quartz garden structure supported by sleek archways and aerial bridges. The central tower rises through multiple tiers, each lined with trees and green spaces, blending nature with futuristic aesthetics.
  • Sky Farms: Several farming plots with carrots, melons, wheat, and other crops are built into floating greenhouse-style pods, suspended by clean glass and concrete framing.
  • Residential Modules: Apartments and homes are built in stacked formations across multiple floating platforms, using a signature combination of purple and white materials. Trees and park areas are scattered between the buildings to maintain a sense of green space.
  • Government or Civic Hall: A large white-and-gray domed structure with grand staircases and an elevated balcony appears to serve as a governmental or civic hall.
  • Underside Infrastructure: The underside of the city includes support struts, utility corridors, and views into the deep ocean below, emphasizing the city’s immense scale and engineering.

Legacy

Although still under construction in some areas, Ceres Artemis stands as one of the most ambitious and visually distinct builds in Postrema. Its emphasis on futuristic vertical living, symmetry, and integration with the environment make it a landmark example of architectural vision in the region.
