Aberdeen
Aberdeen is a coastal city located on the far eastern tip of the Postrema region in the Shire. Founded by A_Trusty_Fox, Aberdeen occupies a lush, flat peninsula surrounded by water on three sides—north, east, and west—offering sweeping sea views and a verdant landscape.
Although the city was never completed, its core layout and ambitious vision remain visible in its existing infrastructure. Despite several attempts by volunteers to revive the project, the city remains partially developed.
Geography and Environment
Aberdeen is set in a gently rolling grassland biome, notable for its thick fields of blue orchid flowers that stretch across the peninsula. Towering ypress trees line the main road into the city, creating a visually distinct and picturesque entrance. The region’s flat topography and coastal placement make it ideal for shipping, farming, and civic development.
Architecture and Style
The city is characterized by its distinctive red brick and stone construction, evoking a classical urban charm. Buildings often feature symmetrical designs, steep roofs, and ornamental towers. The visual centerpiece is a large clocktower and the grand Aberdeen City Hall, which is flanked by twin spired towers and proudly flies the regional banner.
