Introduction
The Noreskian Federation is a federation comprising different states and dependencies located throughout The Shire. Because of its geographical dispersion and the vastness of its territory, it is home to many different cultures, peoples and languages.
The official languages used for official communication are Shirefrench, Shirenglish and Norgenese, in that order, with Shirefrench and Norgenese being privileged for internal communication, and Shirenglish being privileged for communication towards foreign officials. However, the languages spoken amongst the Noreskii are more varied : in addition to Shirefrench, Shirenglish and Norgenese, there are communities that speak Oranjestadish, Venetian and Athitican.

As such, they have their own separate government, parliament and institutions to manage the matters of the nation, such as health, infrastructure or defense. Nevertheless, it is to be noted that despite their autonomy, the Constituent Countries and their institutions have obligations towards the Federation as their Constitution is that of the Noreskian Federation.
