The Kiwimango Massif is an area on the King's Peninsula known for its hilly and cliff-infested geography. It was named after the amusement park built on it; Kiwimango.
Physical Geography
The Kiwimango Massif is home to two vulcanoes, Mount Mata Puai and Mount Dragonfruit and a plethora of hills and cliffs. Kiwimango Co has carefully integrated their attractions into and around these cliffs and hills to make the best of what they have.
Recent History
The first builds on the Kiwimango Massif were a large tree and an Aztec temple, built by Kieran, but these were demolished 2 years later when Kiwimango Co used the area to build their amusement park. You can still see the foundation of the temple in the ground at Kiwimango.
The ancient city of Vemkiu is also located in the Kiwimango Massif, and has long since been incorporated into Kiwimango, along with one of their abandoned mines at Mount Dragonfruit, an active vulcano.
Nowadays the Massif has a Goober infestation, but strangely it is limited to the Spooktobertown area of Kiwimango with the exception of Mount Mata Puai.
Prehistory
The Kiwimango Massif is thought to have formed due to vulcanism, and after formation, it quickly saw the evolution of unique animals that are now extinct. On land, the Kiwimango Massif was home to the carnivorous Mangosaur, which is thought to have hunted the Kiwisaur. Below the waves, the Kiwimango Massif was the only place on the Shire where you could find the giant orthocone Bananaceras, reaching sizes up to 50 blocks long, maybe longer.
