Karya Kelana Knowledge and GA Head Resigns

Maulid Soedarmo has announced his resignation as Head of Knowledge Management and General Affairs Division of Karya Kelana Inc. The resignation came as a surprise, as Karya Kelana Inc. is going through a non-operative phase. In his resignation letter, he stated his regret for "failing to push the company forward in making new breakthroughs in knowledge creation". He also stated that some people are accusing him of abusing the power of Karya Kelana Inc. in estabilishing unauthorized communication with external parties. He claimed that the accusations are highly false.

The vacant position will be filled by João Te Ariki de Carvalho.

Karya Kelana Incorporated is No More

…also, a gate to Earth?

The executives of Karya Kelana Inc. have announced the official dissolution of the company and its conversion to the non-profit Karya Kelana Organization, or Karya Kelana Org. This landmark transition was finalized at the closing of the company’s three-day town hall meeting on March 4th, 2026. This is enacted after the equally shocking, previously undisclosed success of Gerbang Kelana gate reactivation, which connects the Shire to the Ancestral Earth of Fraggle Rock early colonists once again.

“We shall sail away from mere profit and let [us] be open towards other paths of innovation,” said ParVeil13, now head of Karya Kelana Organization. He also announced that the Headquarters status of their complex has been put to an end. “There is no Headquarters anymore. This place is Karya Kelana itself and shall be named Karya Kelana. Again, no more HQ,” he added.

Despite the shifted focus, the organization is still open for commerce. “That’s why the enterprise division is still needed,” said Priscilla Magbanua, Karya Kelana Enterprise and Global Relations Division Head. “But we are putting some limits to commerce. ….. The main peninsula of Karya Kelana is now closed for new businesses, and commercial clients are removed from our WorldGuard for now. Anyone with an existing commerce building here can re-apply for WorldGuard membership. Prospective businesses can apply to open stores near Alpha Pyramid, which will be the focus of our next project.”

The executives also made a solemn vow in front of local religious leaders to complete projects within 365 days, including within Ancestral Earth, at the risk of exile if failed. The idea of the vow came from João Carvalho, the new Karya Kelana Innovation, Knowledge and General Affairs Division Head. The mentioned projects included three sizable projects of collective benefit, the completion of the Cactus County Wiki Expedition, and the construction of buildings for Karya Kelana Workers’ Union and the Warta Kelana News Agency. “The Workers’ Union and Warta Kelana … are independent of Karya Kelana Org. and are free to give opinions, praises, and criticisms toward Karya Kelana Org. policies,” said Carvalho.

Among the attendees of the town hall closing were Maulid Sudarmo, Karya Kelana Inc. co-founder and former executive, now serving as Head of Warta Kelana, and Putra Marhaen, Head of Karya Kelana Workers’ Union.

JaMo Library Rebranded as KK Library

The library now only collects Karya Kelana-published books.

March 16th, 2026

João Carvalho, Karya Kelana Innovation and Knowledge Head announced that the Jassin-Mojares Shire Heritage Library has rebranded to Karya Kelana Library and will undergo operational transitions this week.

"We realized that by collecting Shire-wide books, we have merely done what other libraries have done at a scale more magnificent than ours," said Carvalho. He further said that his recent visit to Terumbu Nagaram library and talks with his predecessor, Maulid Sudarmo have reshaped his division's view on the library's priorities. "Past aspirations have always been about showcasing Karya Kelana-made books first, and this is what we will actualize for the library. The value that we bring to The Shire should be unique," he continued.

With the shift of collections, previously showcased books will be removed and donated elsewhere. "We joined Mr. Carvalho in the talks of donating the books to the libraries of Kettulaakso and Terumbu," said library head Abdurasid Ampatuan. He also mentioned plans to revamp the library website.

Karya Kelana Head to Release Major Policy

Nico Sagala, General Affairs Division Head of Karya Kelana Org., has informed Warta Kelana that the Head of Karya Kelana Organization, ParVeil13, will announce a major policy for the development of Karya Kelana this week. The policies will be in line with the aspirations within the Karya Kelana Solemn Vow in unorthodox ways, Sagala said.

The Karya Kelana Organization had facilitated its very first Evaluation Meeting in the Boto Sude Hall on July 24th, 2026, which talked about work progress from each divisions in the last 5 months, discussion regarding work progress, and resulting policies.

WORK PROGRESS

All four divisions have presented their achievements. Each are listed below:

Division of Innovation and Knowledge Affairs (IKA) - Executed The "Not Historic Sites... Yet" (NHSY) Campaign, which successfully pushed 16 sites for official Historical Site status; this is the most successful Karya Kelana program to date - Established connections with the Shire Historical Foundation andmade drafts of historical sites' criteria, pre-campaign - Repurposed Karya Kelana Library for Karya Kelana books-only - Published 40 books for the library - Created/renovated 2 Shire wiki pages - Created a Wikipedia page in the Ancestral Earth - Attempted the TECHROM campaign

Division of General Affairs (GA) - Estabilished connections with another world through the Permata Kelana Expedition, which is constructing a library expected to store 960 lecterns (construction ongoing); as well as drafting correspondence for the referred world - Drafted 6 regulatory announcements - Published 4 monthly reports - Financed the Warta Kelana News Agency which helped the experimentation of publishing 7 posts

Division of Infrastructural Development (ID) - Made the Warta Kelana News Agency building - Requested the permission to make in-WorldGuard paths for 8 cities, towns, and villages; completed 6 of them per the Evaluation Meeting - Made the Cemetery of Honors - Currently constructing the Workers' Union building - Extended the Phean-Thma road - Made an unnamed road - Landscaped parts of the of Norshire Line - Re-modelled the road around Karya Kelana Library - Made minor progress on the Alpha Pyramid Revitalization - Made the Work-Log Garden

DISCUSSIONS:

After works were presented, these points are discussed:

1. The works of IKA, GA, and ID divisions are considered commendable.
2. However, a major remark: even with the completion of the Workers' Union building, the Solemn Vow progress will only be at 36.2%, lower than the 5th month expectation of 41.7% (8.33..% x 5 months)
3. A lot of the discussion delves into work system imperfections, among them are ADHD-like executive dysfunction by many employees, balancing organizational job with primary subsistence job (since the organization scores no profit yet), unawareness of lax-work periods, miscalculation of incentives, and lack of adequate work log.
4. As for KKGE, LLC., the almost complete absence of work stems for the same reason that transformed Karya Kelana Inc. to Karya Kelana Org. in the first place: inadequate prospects of "recorded benefit to others" and/or profit.
5. It is best that the change of divisions and/or their nomenclature only serves to the purpose of accountability towards specific works. For example, if accountability is separately needed for X, Y, and Z work types, then it is best to create separate divisions for each X, Y, and Z. To lump X, Y, and Z to a single division might risk inadequate work (eg. only X is done = considered enough for a single X-Y-Z division).
6. However, if any of the lumped work types can have its own system of accountability outside of the general accountability offered by the Org., it is preferred to keep the lumping. For example, inter-dimensional affairs are still allowed to be lumped with the General Affairs Division because each world provides its own system of accountability with different people.

RESULTS:

The discussion created results detailed below:

Regarding Karya Kelana Global Enterprises, LLC.

1. Karya Kelana Global Enterprises, LLC. is disbanded, and its affairs handed to the Division of General Affairs.
2. Ms. Priscilla Magbanua is relieved of her duty as the Director of Karya Kelana Global Enterprises, LLC.
3. The Department of International Offices is formed under the Division of General Affairs to oversee branch offices of Karya Kelana Org.
4. Mr. Supachai Chevapravatdumrong is assigned as the Head of the Department of International Offices.
5. The Karya Kelana mission to the Lost Commonwealth is suspended until further notice.

Regarding Division of Work Systems Laboratory

1. Karya Kelana Organization forms a new division, named the Division of Work Systems Laboratory.
2. The Division of Work Systems Laboratory is assigned the duties of experimenting and iterating with work systems in Karya Kelana Org.
3. The Division of Work Systems Laboratory is obliged to create a Monthly Work Systems Report each month until the conclusion of the Karya Kelana Solemn Vow. It should contain a summary of their monthly work, by the least.
4. The first Monthly Work System Report will be released on early August. However, as an exception to number 3, the summarized works may include works from March to July.
5. Ms. Priscilla Magbanua is assigned the duty of the Head of Division of Work Systems Laboratory.

The results will be officially enacted through the release of Regulatory Announcements on "Karya Kelana: Correspondence".

KK Div Head: "My World Shattered"

Priscilla Magbanua, co-founder and longtime division head of Karya Kelana, expressed her most candid thoughts on the executive-level changes in the Organization to Warta Kelana journalists today.

"I felt the utmost regret. My whole time here, I only thought of how can we get enough money to sustain our people. I have a business back in the Ancestral Earth, and I left it for the promises here. The initiative to make the company of Karya Kelana was mine. That failed to give profit. The decision to de-company Karya Kelana was a big blow already, yet I still tried to do my job to the best of my ability. But the last evaluation meeting... there is simply no way we could get profit for the foreseeable future. I.... my world has been shattered," Magbanua said.

"It is in no way the fault of the Organization or Parveil, or any other division. I deeply regret and apologize for this financial drought. Now that Par has given me, and in his own words, the last chance to prove myself, I'll try to use my new job well. I'm not as familiar with the current scope of my job, and it does feel foreign..... yet by the heavens, I'll really do my best."

The enactment of the executive changes is rumored to be done today. Meanwhile, Magbanua has said to us that she will "take some time to reflect" in Laurelian, in line with her conversion to the Mathaanist faith. The retreat is said to be permitted by Parveil, Head of the Organization.

Solemn Vow? You Mean Solemn Flop?

I have heard the cries of Kelanans who said that they are tired of relying on subsistence jobs to feed them. "When?" is, arguably, the most frequently said word along the nice avenues of Karya Kelana, in the face of our Sisyphean struggle to get even the tiniest bits of extra money.

The Vow said that it demands the creation of projects of benefit to others, to Shiredom and beyond, yet it forgets that our savings are often empty. Bills are not seldom unpaid, emergency savings unthinkable. Has Parveil heard of some Kelanans who were evicted from their rented houses in Baba?

So I ask again to Parveil and the rest of the execs. What benefit, when ours is not there? When you stripped Priscilla out of her previous position because you think our financial situation is not salvageable? Have you even know that Kelanans protested for the first time in your leadership, showing that the reception of Kelanans of you starts to falter?

If I were you, I would strip the mentions of "beneficial projects", and go straight to "several project attempts, with tangible products or prototypes, regardless of project success or failure". We all know that quantity breeds quality, yet your Vow demands emergence of the benefit for, and I mention, 3 programs; what a low number. Such emergence is not fully in our control. Sure, we do not discourage failure, but at the same time, we undervalue them. This is detrimental to our motivational system. As much as I agree that the creation of the Work Systems Laboratory might be a potential solution to this, I have yet to see its work.

But alas, we can not undo the Vow, and it has to go on until all is fulfilled. However, I really believed that the Vow has the wrong priorities in the first place.

Laurie raises real points, but aims at the wrong target.

The evictions in Baba and Priscilla’s removal deserve scrutiny on their own- don’t bury them under a structural complaint. But redefining “beneficial projects” as “attempts regardless of outcome” rewards activity over results. The real problem isn’t the bar of three programs, it’s that no one’s explained how Kelanans without capital are supposed to clear it.

The Work Systems Laboratory might be the answer, but it’s shown nothing yet. If it’s meant to make the Vow achievable, Parveil owes us an update.

The Vow’s goals aren’t the problem. The path to them is.

We have heard the aspirations and suggestions by both Mrs. Eteuati and Mr. Nebbers. We thank them for their concerns; Mr. Parveil has been informed as well, and has expressed his gratitude for the messages.

We realize that the de-prioritization of profit within our Organization has its own risks and disapprovals. But we mainly want to be certain, and thus make this a primary priority, that the Solemn Vow is completed before March 2027 (or hopefully earlier). This aims to avoid an even greater calamity: the societal disintegration of Karya Kelana due to its lack of ongoing role locally, Shire-wide, and beyond, as observed in other towns within the Cactus County desert region. If the Vow is completed, we may start innovatively revitalizing the Kelanan economy in spite of minimal prospect. We humbly implore Kelanans to consider the circumstances that we are in.

As for the Work Systems Laboratory, it is indeed too early to expect results when it has been formed for mere three days, and when its first work is expected early next month, August 2026. We hope for Kelanans' patience in waiting for their work.

As a note, we tend not to recommend other towns to follow our footsteps in establishing certain work systems, as we understand that some of those might be contributing to the instability of their societies. The Solemn Vow is itself a work system which we consider unique to Karya Kelana and arguably counterproductive elsewhere. However, judging from Kelanans' societal character, we still hold to our strong belief that fulfilling the Vow will protect and advance Kelanans.

We personally apologize to Ms. Magbanua and all Kelanans who have been negatively impacted by our policies. For the evicted Kelanans, the Prahu Panggung Inn is open for them to stay for the time being, free of charge.

Warta Kelana Proudly Releases Ritma Kelana

A Promising Spin-off?

Warta Kelana proudly announces the release of a spin-off media network, Ritma Kelana! The network will focus on arts and entertainment that are not related to Minecraft. "Ritma Kelana will start focusing on audiovisual edits, but it's always possible to widen the network's scope," news agency head Maulid Soedarmo said. He also announced that it will acquire the Ancestral Earth-based YouTube channel Moosical Apocalypse and rebrand it with the network's name. "The channel had its success in the past: A video of it almost reached a million views, another has a hundred thousand. With past record of high views, we believe we can revitalize it again," he elaborated. "Please be patient; we plan to release our first content this month!"

"Every Library a Lectern": Karya Kelana Announces New Program

The Karya Kelana community proudly announces the "Every Library a Lectern" program! Sponsored by the Karya Kelana Organization and the Great Library of Terumbu Nagaram*, the program was made out of concern that there are enough libraries around the Shire, but not enough readable books. To make books more accessible to everyday Shire citizens, as well as to increase Shire-wide literacy, Kelanans aim to add 10 to 50 lecterns with books in libraries around the Shire!

However, the program needs a pilot library to test the program's feasibility. If any citizen of the Shire is interested to have their local library be used as a pilot library, please contact or tag us in Discord! Alongside this, the Organization would contact town and city leaders around the Shire to find prospective libraries.
