THE SPEECH OF
THE EXECUTIVES OF KARYA KELANA ORGANIZATION
TO CLOSE THE TOWN HALL MEETING
MARCH 4th, 2026
PARVEIL13:
This evening, I am happy to announce that we are closing the town hall meeting.
And by that, let me exclaim once again, in the front of the gate:
Gerbang Kelana has been activated, once again!
Such is among the signs given towards us Kelanans to change course from our previous canoe as a company. To define the creativity of Kelanans into mere profit is demeaning, degrading! Where is capital to help when we experienced hardships? Companies and nations are busy fighting for their own interests, and we are left, in our corner, alone, cold, in the evening winds of this desert.
And within these winds of Cactus County, and the little green fields that surround it, we are reminded that the governments around Karya Kelana are virtually dead.
Dead!
Are we destined to die, in such a short time?
The harsh, cold winds came in the name of ‘existential dread’. We tried our best to welcome the dread with our daily bread. But short in bread we were. There is no other bread left to deliver, other than this: we should transcend beyond the confines of eighteen thousand blocks, in this temporary world of the Shire!
With this conscience, through laborious efforts of scientists and magis within and around Karya Kelana, we have reactivated Gerbang Kelana. Once again, the Ancestral Earth greets our bodies and souls!
But such drastic efforts mean nothing, and we will die anyway, should we remain in low spirits. We should not go gentle into that good night.
To preserve the sunlight above us, to preseve Gerbang Kelana and the community around it…. allow us to once again state our strategies.
First, please welcome Mr. João Te Ariki de Carvalho as your new Head of Innovation, Knowledge and General Affairs Division. We believe that he has a firmer stance on assuring innovation and knowledge creation. Mr. Carvalho, the podium is yours.
JOÃO CARVALHO:
My warm greetings to all Kelanans. Or as I, a rather new Gerbangite, would say in my parents’ languages: Bonoite ba ita-boot sira hotu! Kia ora koutou katoa!
Some of you might guess my earthly ethnicity right away.
(audience chuckles)
I am very glad that Mr. Parveil entrusted me with this… very… interesting job. And I do have a plan, as we have discussed here.
Please raise your hand if you respect religious vows highly.
(most audience raised their hand)
I think the religious leaders here are aware of that. Here we have The Honorables Reverend Lasut, Father Reyes, Shaykh Shabir, and Bhante Dhamma…. And as we all knew, the plan is for us executives to give a solemn vow with our religious leaders and the Kelanan people as witnesses, that we will make three beneficial projects within the Shire or the Ancestral Earth.
And as we all know, should we fail…. it’s either riots, giving away our community’s independence, or a massive disaster.
There will be no Gerbang Kelana; there will be no Karya Kelana. What will remain are lost Kelanans.
But this is the only way to survive: to do, or die.
To do. To make projects. There is the Alpha Pyramid to revitalize, many parts of big metropolitans to write about, we even can traverse to the Ancestral World to actually make an online encyclopedia entry. There is so much… to do. And we are very open to new innovative ideas from Kelanans.
And I, as the new Head of Innovation, Knowledge and General Affairs Division, promise to you that I will deliver progress through any means that I can do.
And I would be kind to Kelanans, and I would be firm to the executives, including myself, to ensure the progress.
We also have the Workers’ Union and Warta Kelana, which are independent of Karya Kelana Organization and are free to give opinions, praises, and criticisms toward our policies. They are represented by Mr. Maulid Sudarmo, my dear predecessor, and Mr. Putra Marhaen, which are here with us. Thank you!
Thank you. I will give this podium to Ms. Priscilla Dela Cruz Magbanua, which have been serving Karya Kelana since the beginning, and is now the Head of Enterprise and Global Relations Division. The podium is yours.
PRISCILLA MAGBANUA:
Maayong gabi! Good evening Kelanans.
It is surreal to go through all these changes. Last month we were busy in our offices when we realize that the old company model was unsustainable.
It shattered our views on profit, on our visions, on the future of Kelanans.
However, we realized that we can’t fully separate ourselves from capital, which we need for our sustenance. That’s why the enterprise division is still needed.
But we are putting some limits to commerce. First, the commerce responsibilities will be limited to the Division of Enterprise and Global Relations. Then, the main peninsula of Karya Kelana is now closed for new businesses, and commercial clients are removed from our WorldGuard for now. Anyone with an existing commerce building here can re-apply for WorldGuard membership. Prospective businesses can apply to open stores near Alpha Pyramid, which will be the focus of our next project.
Please understand that we want to prioritize the sanctity of the Gerbang Kelana, first and foremost.
That’s probably it; I’m no good in making insiprational speeches, but I’m excited to work for the interests of all Kelanans.
Thank you. Mr Parveil, the podium is yours.
PARVEIL13:
Thank you, Ms. Magbanua.
And again I invite all of you: we shall sail away from mere profit and let our hearts and minds be open towards other paths of innovation.
And to all Kelanans, after hearing all your aspirations, we should reaffirm what it means to be a Kelanan in Karya Kelana. And let me declare: there is no Headquarters anymore. This place is Karya Kelana itself and shall be named Karya Kelana. Again, no more HQ! And this plaza, is now the Gerbang Plaza. No more Company Plaza.
This shall be the worthy conclusion of my speech. With this I invite religious leaders, Your Honorables: The Reverend Ambrose Lasut, Father Juan Isidoro Reyes, Shaykh Shabir Al-Babaluni, and Bhikkhu Dhammapunno. Please stand on your designated spaces with your Scriptures.
For Mr. Carvalho and Ms. Magbanua, please stand on your designated spaces as well.
We are about to recite the solemn vow, and with its closing, the town hall meeting comes to an end.
